1. Our approach

SuCo respects intellectual property and expects members to upload only content they own or are licensed to use. We remove or disable access to material that a rights holder identifies as infringing, notify the member who posted it, and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. This process follows the notice-and-takedown and counter-notice procedure described in the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

2. Where to send notices

SuCo has not yet listed a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. Until it does, send copyright notices and counter-notices to support@mysuco.app, or by mail to J5 Cleaning Services LLC, Attn: Copyright, 8442 Fury Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32244. This page will be updated when a designated agent is appointed.

You can also use the Report control on the content and choose "Copyright or IP infringement", or Contact Support. A report through the app flags the content for staff review; a formal notice must still include the elements in section 3.

3. Sending a copyright notice

Use the subject "Copyright notice". A complete notice includes:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed (or a representative list if several works are involved).
  • The exact location of the material on SuCo — profile username, post, Offer or message link — with enough detail for us to find it.
  • Your full name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices may be returned for more information. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

4. What we do with a complete notice

  • Staff review the notice and remove or disable access to the identified material, normally within 2 business days.
  • We notify the member who posted it, tell them how to send a counter-notice, and share a copy of the notice (your personal contact details are removed unless the law requires otherwise).
  • We record a copyright strike on the member's account.
  • Provider earnings connected to an Offer built on the material may be held while the matter is open.

5. Sending a counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address with the subject "Copyright counter-notice", including:

  • Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  • Consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the U.S., any judicial district in which SuCo may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We forward a complete counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days of receiving the counter-notice. Restored material removes the related strike.

6. Repeat infringers

  • Each valid notice that is not successfully countered counts as one copyright strike.
  • An account with three copyright strikes is terminated. A single case of deliberate or large-scale infringement can lead to termination immediately.
  • Terminated providers lose provider status, and unpaid earnings connected to infringing Offers may be cancelled.
  • Decisions can be appealed through Complaints & Appeals.

7. Trademarks and impersonation

Using a brand's name, logo or a person's identity in a way likely to confuse people is prohibited. Report impersonation from the profile's report menu or by email with the subject "Trademark / impersonation complaint".

8. SuCo's own intellectual property

The SuCo name, logo, design, software and content are the property of J5 Cleaning Services LLC. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer or resell the platform or present yourself as affiliated with SuCo without our written permission.
